Susan Mulcahy is a Master Teacher registered with the UK Reiki Federation. Sue teaches uses the UK Reiki federation guidelines, but also teaches so much more. So whats the much more? Well it's tailored to each student. Usui always intended the course to be taught as a self development programme and so each student's needs are a litte different.
The way Sue teaches can also a little different, although she will teach the course over a weekend if this is the only way you can fit it into your life. Whats the alternative? Sue found that it was far more beneficial for students to learn in two hour slots and have the opportunity to take the knowledge from the teachings and practical sessions away with them to practice on friends and family. In this way as the student practices they can discuss their experiences and get a second opinion whilst learning.
Sue found this to be the best way as no matter how much you understand in lessons and practicals - theres nothing quite like experience and being able to gain valuable feedback to questions you may have. Of course Sue is always at the end of the phone - but does ask if you've practised at midnight and have a burning question that you write it in an email or go to the forum section of the members area! |
